HOW TO JOIN . . .
Membership of the Staines Partnership provides an ideal opportunity to influence and shape policies affecting Staines. It also clearly demonstrates a commitment and interest in being involved, and working with, other stakeholders in the town.
The partnership will use all funds raised through the membership scheme and corporate sponsorship to implement action plans and project work that assist with delivery of its strategic objectives.
Characteristics of the Membership Scheme
It is anticipated that funding will be derived from a variety of sources. These will include contributionsfrom the membership scheme described below and larger sums from corporate partners.
The membership scheme is aimed at all sectors of the business community. The scheme recognizes that sufficient funding will be required to make an impact, and the annual contribution reflects this. These are at a similar level to other town centre membership schemes. In addition, community organisations can opt to join the scheme by making a modest financial contribution or a contribution in-kind.
For business organisations the membership scheme contributions are based on the rateable value of business premises as follows:

Benefits of Membership
Members have a voice at a local level through the Staines Partnership Board and the Partnership
Working Groups, to influence public sector opinion. At a national level the partnership has a voice
through membership of the Association of Town Centre Management and the All-Party Parliamentary Group. The partnership also works closely with the local Chamber of Commerce.
